Jared Cohen, Brent Bushnell keynote speakers at #BCTECH Summit

Jared Cohen, founder of Google Ideas, is one of the keynote speakers at the 2018 #BCTECH Summit, which is expected to draw more than 6,000 attendees and 150 speakers.

Cohen is the CEO of Jigsaw, previously known as Google Ideas, and an incubator within Alphabet that tackles global security challenges, and one of TIME magazine’s 100 Most Influential People in 2013.

He will be joined by Brent Bushnell, CEO of experimental entertainment company Two Bit Circus at the third annual summit in Vancouver from May 14-16.

“This event is the largest showcase of innovation in B.C. and gives the world a glimpse of the cutting-edge, made-in-B.C. technologies that are pushing the boundaries of innovation and creating solutions for the world’s most challenging problems,” said Carl Anderson, CEO of the B.C. Innovation Council, which is organizing the event in partnership with the B.C. government.
