BC Innovation Council Launches National Tour to Connect Startups with Corporates

The BC Innovation Council has launched its second BC Growth Opportunities Tour, a tour across the province that invites large enterprises to interact with startups and innovators.

Some of the 27 companies participating this year include Schneider Electric, Streamline Transportation Tech, BCLC, and IBM Canada. The companies will present their business challenges to an audience of local innovators who have the opportunity to offer their solutions to solve the challenges.

“The BC Growth Opportunities tour offers BC’s best and brightest innovators the chance to meet and work with potential clients looking for unique made-in-BC technology solutions,” said Bruce Ralston, Minister of Jobs, Trade and Technology. “It will help grow BC’s thriving technology sector by bringing major business opportunities to individual communities throughout the province.”
