entrepreneurship@UBC Accelerator Program
The entrepreneurship@UBC (e@UBC) Accelerator Program supports the development and growth of UBC-linked ventures. This intensive program is based on the Lean Launch Pad (LLP) process developed by Steve Blank. Employing the Business Model Canvas, new venture teams iteratively test business model hypotheses and build a validated start-up opportunity. World-class educators and entrepreneurial mentors help equip new ventures with the tools and resources to increase their chances of success.
BCIC is an important partner for e@UBC and was a founding partner in establishing the initial capitalization for the e@UBC Seed Accelerator Fund.
Through UBC’s strong alumni network, and its relationships with the business communities in Vancouver and the Okanagan, e@UBC offers significant resources and a powerful learning experience for students, providing skills and experience to create profitable, sustainable business ventures that generate jobs, investment and economic impacts.
A campus-wide initiative, e@UBC provides programs and resources to the UBC community designed to inspire entrepreneurship, create validated business opportunities, and build them in to start-ups positioned for investment and growth.
