Co-op student draws golf app close to the pin

A Thompson Rivers University Student and a BC Tech Co-op Grant may be to thank the next time you book a tee time.

Jeffrey Palmer is a co-op student working for Kamloops-based Buddie Golf, a startup that aims to innovate how players book rounds of golf. The free app allows golfers to connect with other players at over 11,000 North American courses.

“The highlight for me, working on the app, has been getting extensive iOS experience,” says Palmer.
