BC Tech Summit Set to Reshape BC Business

BC Tech Summit will likely be the biggest and most enlightening tech conference British Columbia has ever experienced.

The two-day Summit to be held at the Vancouver Convention Centre is a collaborative effort by The Province of British Columbia and the BC Innovation Council to enhance business through the use of technology and innovation as well as driving growth across all segments of the BC economy.

The event will showcase BC’s vibrant technology industry and aims to build cross-sector opportunities for businesses while exploring the latest ideas that will drive a competitive advantage for BC.

The list of compelling keynote presenters so far includes:

  • Ray Kurzweil, Inventor, Futurist, and Director of Engineering at Google. Described as “the restless genius,” Ray’s provocative predictions will change how you think about the future.
  • Elyse Allan, President and CEO, GE Canada. Named as one of the 25 Most Powerful People in Canada.
  • Eric Ries, Author, The Lean Startup. A New York Times best selling author, Eric is recognized for pioneering the Lean Startup movement.
  • Terry Stuart, Chief Innovation Officer, Deloitte. “Constructive disruptor”, helping both the firm and clients thrive.
  • Beth Noveck, Founder and Director of The Governance Lab. Strives to improve people’s lives by changing how we govern.
